As of February 13, 2025, the R.E.N.T.Ri. (National Electronic Register for Waste Traceability) has officially become operational. This new digital system is designed to enhance the monitoring and management of waste across Italy.
Currently, many businesses still rely on paper logs or fragmented systems, which can make precise and effective tracking a challenge. Introduced by the Ministry of the Environment to align with European Directives, this shift toward digitalization marks a crucial step forward. It ensures greater transparency, efficiency, and oversight, while introducing updated compliance responsibilities for companies.
In line with these regulations, Henoto, Emvisia, and Backspace have officially registered with R.E.N.T.Ri. Moving forward, all three companies will adopt the new digital models for Loading and Unloading Registers and Waste Identification Forms (FIR), as mandated by Ministerial Decree 59/2023.This transition represents another milestone in our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and the continuous optimization of our internal processes.
